Appreciating Our Veterans

My good friend, Walter served our Country and so did my Daddy, although Daddy served a very long time ago in World War II and he’s been gone a long time now. But Walter is one of the few men I know that served in the military and came home with no injuries and no PTSS. He is a good man and I’m proud to call him my friend – even if he didn’t read my blog!

So today we all honor our Country’s veterans and if you know someone who has served, you should give them a hug or a handshake and tell them to their face that we all appreciate their service.

    Dear Charlotte,

    How sweet of you to mention Walter and his service in the U. S. Marine Corps. He is a good man and could easily be a role model to many young boys in need of someone to look up to and emulate. I do hope he reads your post – well said, my dear.
