I’m watching the CMT music videos today just to keep some background noise in the house while I clean and poke around on the internet.

There is a hit song by an artist named Randy Houser. I’ve never heard of Randy, but this video is REALLY cute and I wanted to share it with everyone. If you get the chance to watch the video called “Boots On,” you should give it a listen and a look. The video is about a dad who pulls up to a gas station with his kid in the back seat. The dad is pumping gas and leaves the car radio on and the little kid sits in his car seat singing away and playing a toy guitar. It is PRECIOUS!

This is the summer that wasn’t. We never had a full week of nice hot summer weather the entire months of June or July. We had mostly rain and cloudy, humid days. I miss the nice weather of sunny days with a nice breeze and low humidity. The kind of days that make you want to pack a picnic lunch and go to the park, just to be outside. We never got that this year.
