Yummy and Easy Tilapia

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

I have never tried to cook Tilapia although I have enjoyed it in restaurants. A distant relative shared an easy recipt with me for baked Tilapia. Mix equal parts of mayonnaise with grated parmesean cheese and spread it generously over the top of Tilapia fillets. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. So easy!

Thank you, Felicia!

Painted Nails

Sunday, June 13th, 2010

When I need a nice treat, I go to a nail salon and have a pedicure. This is more than just ending up with painted nails. This is an hour of bliss. Someone is paying attention to me, wanting to please me, and making me feel good. I used to think that is why I got married. But it is much easier, cheaper and satisfying to go to a nail salon and pay them twenty dollars once a month.

Brunch!

Sunday, May 9th, 2010

The family took me out to brunch today to celebrate Mother’ s Day. We went to the O’Charley’s restaurant near my house. O’Charley’s has an excellent brunch every Saturday and Sunday until 3:00 pm.

I ordered an omelette from their brunch menu. It was delicious! Thank you to my wonderful family for making today a very special day!

Easter Baskets

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

Tonight I put the kids to bed and then drove up to WalMart to buy their Easter baskets. Hubby was home, of course. I would never leave the kids in bed and then just go to the store with them left alone!!!!

Well, I was practically giddy with the thought of being in WalMart by myself! Unfortunately, the supply of Easter baskets was running low and they were so picked over, that I couldn’t find anything that I liked.

I ended up going to Target and finding the perfect baskets there. So the trip was a little longer than I anticipated, but it was a great success.
