Yummy and Easy Tilapia

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

I have never tried to cook Tilapia although I have enjoyed it in restaurants. A distant relative shared an easy recipt with me for baked Tilapia. Mix equal parts of mayonnaise with grated parmesean cheese and spread it generously over the top of Tilapia fillets. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. So easy!

Thank you, Felicia!

Hash Browns

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Every once in a while I enjoy a small serving of hash browns with my breakfast. But I have to admit, I can never seem to cook hash browns and have them turn out as tasty as the ones they make at Waffle House. I wonder what is their secret?

Leftovers

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

Tonight I cooked an extra portion of pork loin and now I have some leftover pork that has a great flavor and only needs to be re-heated. I shredded the meat and put it into a covered dish. I have to decide which type of barbecue sauce that I want to put on it, and what to serve it on. My first thought is to use hamburger buns, but part of me thinks that Jonny cakes would be a nice change.

PBJ

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

Just about everyone that I know was brought up on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. And all of them know that PBJ means Peanut Butter and Jelly.

My favorite brand of peanut butter is Reeses peanut butter. If that is not available, then I like the taste of Jiff.

As a kid, we had Skippy in the house. That was the only brand that my dad liked to eat, therefore, that was the only brand of peanut butter that was bought for the household.
